honouring the Slovak roots of pop art

Oscar Eagle gifted Speaker Richard Raši a one-off oil-on-canvas created especially for the Slovak Republic. The composition pairs Bratislava’s street sculpture of Andy Warhol with the city’s playful Čumil, while Warhol’s classic Elvis depiction hovers in the background—three pop-art icons woven into one scene. Now hanging in the National Council, the painting shows how effortlessly Oscar fuses local heritage with a bold contemporary vision.
